# Choosing a peptide supplier: the questions that sort the field.

Any storefront can look credible. Four questions, asked before you pay, separate suppliers who run a real operation from those who run a website.

How to Choose a Peptide Supplier in the Philippines: 5 Checks1:36·[Transcript and chapters](https://www.primaralabs.com/videos/choosing-a-peptide-supplier-philippines)

## Start with stock location

The single most revealing question: where is the stock, physically, right now? Everything else follows from the answer. A supplier holding inventory in Metro Manila can quote you a delivery date in days, controls how the product was stored between arrival and dispatch, and can be held to account by a buyer in the same country. A dropshipper relaying your order to an overseas warehouse controls none of that, and your parcel inherits every problem covered in the [local stock vs imports comparison](https://www.primaralabs.com/blog/local-stock-vs-imports): multi-week transit, uncontrolled heat, customs exposure. The test is behavioral, not verbal. Ask for a delivery timeline to your address. "Same-day in the metro, 1 to 2 days Luzon, 2 to 3 Visayas, 3 to 5 Mindanao provincial" is an answer only real local stock can give.

## Traceability and handling

Next, look at the vial itself, or ask for a photo of one. Does the label carry a printed batch number? That number is the spine of traceability: it ties your specific vial to a specific production run, which means the supplier tracks what they sell at the unit level and any later question about your vial has an anchor. An unlabeled or hand-marked vial is an anonymous product, and anonymity is exactly what a careless or dishonest seller wants. The post on [reading your vial label](https://www.primaralabs.com/blog/reading-your-vial-label) covers what a properly labeled unit looks like.

Then ask how the product is stored and shipped. Lyophilized peptides are temperature-sensitive goods in a tropical country. The right answers are specific: refrigerated storage, sealed vials, dispatch timed to minimize hours in the heat. A supplier who shrugs at the storage question, or ships vials loose in a padded envelope, is telling you how much the contents are worth to them.

## Responsiveness and pricing

Support quality shows before you buy. Send a real question, about stock, reconstitution volumes, or delivery to your area, and watch the reply. You want specific, prompt, unhurried answers from someone who plainly knows the catalogue. Evasive one-word replies, pressure to pay quickly, or copy-pasted spam are previews of how a problem would be handled later, which is to say, not at all. Finally, pricing. Transparent peso prices published per vial are a good sign in themselves. A price dramatically below the market is not a bargain, it is a question, and the [red flags list](https://www.primaralabs.com/blog/peptide-red-flags-philippines) explains what usually answers it. Run any supplier, including [Primara Labs](https://www.primaralabs.com/marketplace), through these four filters. Our own answers to all four, plus the claims we deliberately do not make, are on [what we do and don't claim](https://www.primaralabs.com/trust). A good supplier passes without friction. If you are buying to sell on rather than to use, the same questions apply with more weight, and [how a reseller account works](https://www.primaralabs.com/blog/how-a-peptide-reseller-account-works) sets out what allocation and lead times actually look like.

## Supplier questions

### What is the first question to ask a peptide supplier?

Where is your stock, physically, right now? A supplier holding inventory in the Philippines can dispatch in days and answer for handling. A dropshipper relaying orders overseas can do neither, whatever the website implies.

### Why do batch numbers on vials matter?

A printed batch number ties the vial in your hand to a specific production run. It is the difference between a traceable product and an anonymous one, and it is what makes any later conversation about a specific vial possible.

### How can I tell if a supplier's stock is really local?

Ask for the delivery timeline to your address. Genuine local stock supports same-day or next-day dispatch. Answers involving two to three weeks, or vague talk of a warehouse abroad, mean the stock is not here.

### Is the cheapest supplier ever the right choice?

Peptide synthesis has a real cost floor per milligram. A price far below the market clears that floor by cutting something: storage discipline, packaging, traceability, or the contents of the vial. Cheapest and safest rarely coincide.
