The same-day rules in Metro Manila

The same-day promise covers every city and municipality in Metro Manila, and it works the same for a hotel room, a rented condo or a house. After the 12 noon cutoff, the order goes out on the next run. Nothing about the promise changes because you are visiting, because your number is foreign or because you pay from an account abroad.

“Confirmed” means paid and matched to your order in the WhatsApp chat. A transfer from abroad can take longer to land than a local wallet payment, so if you want the parcel the same day, order and pay in the morning rather than close to 12 noon. The payment guide walks through each method.

Delivering to a hotel

A hotel delivery goes smoothly when the desk knows the parcel is coming and can match it to a guest. Reception hand-off is the standard arrangement in Metro Manila: the rider leaves the parcel with reception or the concierge under the name you give us, in plain outer packaging with no compound names.

• Give the name exactly as it is on the booking. A front desk looks a parcel up by guest name. If the room was booked by your company, a partner or a travel agent under a different name, give us that name, or tell the desk both.
• Tell the front desk to expect a courier parcel. Tell reception a courier parcel is coming under your name, and give us the name exactly as it appears on your booking or lease, the tower or building name, and a phone number the rider can reach.
• Send us your room number. The rider may be asked for the guest name and room number at the desk before the parcel is accepted, and the desk may call your room when it arrives.
• Collect it soon after it lands. A front desk is not a fridge. When the rider confirms the drop-off in the chat, go down for it rather than leaving it at reception for the afternoon.

If you are staying in a short-term rental with no front desk, say so in the chat. The rider will call or message the number you give when they arrive, and you meet them at the door or the lobby.

Delivering to a condo

Most condo towers in Metro Manila route deliveries through a lobby desk, a concierge or the guards at the entrance, and riders are often not allowed past the lobby.

• Give the tower and the unit. Many developments have several towers with similar names. Send the building name, the tower, the unit number and the name the building has on file for you, which is usually the name on your lease.
• Register the delivery where the building asks for it. Some buildings want residents to log an expected delivery with building admin or the lobby desk before it arrives, or will not accept a parcel for a tenant they do not have on their list. If you rent through an agent or a unit owner, check how your building handles it in your first week.
• Receive it yourself if you can. The quickest route to a cold vial is you at the lobby when the rider arrives. If you cannot be there, ask the concierge to call up as soon as it lands, and collect it straight away.

What to send us in the chat

For a hotel or a condo, this is everything the rider needs:

1. The name exactly as it appears on your booking or lease.
2. The hotel or building name, and the tower if there is more than one.
3. Your room or unit number, and the city or district.
4. A phone number the rider can reach. A foreign number is fine if it takes calls or WhatsApp messages in the Philippines.
5. Anything the rider should know: leave it at reception, call on arrival, or hand it to you only.

Staying outside Metro Manila

Outside the metro, parcels go by courier rather than by rider: Luzon in 1 to 2 business days, the Visayas in 2 to 3 and Mindanao in 3 to 5. The advice above on names, reception and getting the parcel cold applies there too. Courier is free on orders over ₱10,000 anywhere in the Philippines.

Island resorts: Siargao and Boracay

On Siargao and Boracay, a hotel, resort or villa is the usual delivery address, and the same hand-off applies: the property name, the name on your booking, your room if you have it, and a phone number that works on the island. Two things are different from Manila.

• Time it to your stay.Island parcels are at the far end of their region's window and leave Manila only on that region's dispatch days, so order early and tell us your check-in date in the chat. If the parcel could land before you do, ask the resort beforehand whether it holds parcels for arriving guests and can keep one in a fridge.
• Addresses are landmarks. Many resorts sit on footpaths or share one stretch of road, so the property name and the nearest landmark matter more than a street address.
