- Phase 2 (Jastreboff et al., N Engl J Med 2023; n=338, 48 weeks): dose-dependent, 8.7% at 1mg, 17.1% at 4mg, 22.8% at 8mg and 24.2% at 12mg, against 2.1% on placebo.
- TRIUMPH-2 (n=1,152, 80 weeks) enrolled adults with type 2 diabetes and obesity or overweight and reported 20.8% at 12mg. TRIUMPH-3 (n=1,949) enrolled adults with severe obesity and established cardiovascular disease and reported 22.6%. TRIUMPH-OUTCOMES (cardiovascular and renal outcomes, approximately 10,000 participants) has not read out.
- Body composition (Lancet Diabetes Endocrinol 2025, DXA substudy of the type 2 diabetes Phase 2 trial, n=189, 36 weeks): total fat mass fell 4.9% at 0.5mg, 15.2% at 4mg, 26.1% at 8mg and 23.2% at 12mg, against 4.5% on placebo and 2.6% on dulaglutide. The proportion of lean mass loss to weight loss was similar to other obesity treatments.
