Retatrutide is a single peptide that activates three hormone receptors at once: GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon, which its developer Eli Lilly calls a first-in-class triple agonist.

Testing
- What does an endotoxin result on a peptide vial mean?
An endotoxin result measures bacterial endotoxin, a fragment of bacterial cell walls, in endotoxin units (EU), usually per vial.
- What is the difference between a purity test and an identity test?
An identity test checks that a vial holds the compound named on the label; a purity test, usually by HPLC, measures what share of the detected material is that compound.
- How much does it cost to test a peptide?
