What ships in the box

The full contents, and why each one is there
A lyophilised vial on its own is not a usable item. It is a powder in a sealed container, and getting from that to something a lab can work with takes four other things. Most sellers in this market ship the vial and leave the rest to you. The list below is what is in the box instead.
- Bacteriostatic water
Sterile water containing a small amount of benzyl alcohol as a preservative, supplied in a sealed multi-dose vial.
Lyophilised powder is not usable until it goes back into solution, and this is what puts it there. The preservative is the whole point: plain sterile water has nothing in it to suppress microbial growth, so it is a single-use reagent, while bacteriostatic water is the one that tolerates a vial being drawn from more than once. It is the item most often missing when a vial arrives from another supplier, and the one most often substituted with something that is not equivalent.
- Insulin syringes
Sealed single-use syringes with fine-gauge fixed needles, in individual sterile packaging.
Fine-gauge syringes with clear volume graduations are what makes accurate handling of small quantities possible at all. They arrive sealed and individually wrapped rather than loose in a bag, which matters because a sterile item that has been rattling around in transit is not a sterile item any more.
- Alcohol prep pads
Individually foil-wrapped isopropyl alcohol swabs.
For wiping the vial stopper before each draw. A rubber stopper is not sterile on the outside no matter how clean the vial is inside, and a single pass with an alcohol pad is the difference between drawing from a clean surface and drawing through whatever has settled on it. Individually wrapped so they are still wet when you get to them.
- A reconstitution syringe
A larger syringe for transferring bacteriostatic water into the lyophilised vial.
Reconstitution and drawing are two different jobs and an insulin syringe is sized for one of them. Using an insulin syringe to move several millilitres of water means a dozen passes through the stopper, and every pass is another chance to core the stopper or introduce something. One larger syringe does it in one movement.
- Blank labels

For writing on the vial once it has been reconstituted. A vial in a fridge that does not say what it is and when it was made up is the single most common handling problem anywhere stock is held, and it is completely avoidable. They are deliberately blank rather than pre-printed, because what needs recording is what you did and when, and no supplier can print that in advance.
This holds at every order size
A single vial ships with a kit. So does a five pack, a ten pack, and an order many times that size. The quantities scale with the order rather than stopping at a threshold, so a larger order does not quietly become a worse deal per vial on the things that are not the vial.
There is no tier at which the consumables get dropped. That sounds like a small commitment and it is the one most often broken elsewhere, because consumables are the easiest thing to remove from a large order without anyone noticing until the box is open. An order that arrives without the means to use what is in it is an incomplete order at any size.

Why this matters more than it sounds
If you are reselling
You are selling a complete product rather than a component. That is a different thing to sell and an easier one.
It also removes a procurement job you would otherwise inherit. Sourcing syringes from one supplier, bacteriostatic water from another and pads from a third means matching quantities across three lead times and three minimum orders, and getting it wrong in either direction: short on pads with a hundred vials on the shelf, or holding a year of syringes.
The alternative is passing that job to your customer, which is the more expensive version. A buyer who receives a vial and then has to work out what else they need is a buyer with an opportunity to reconsider the whole purchase. When the answer to what else do I need is nothing, the conversation ends and the order closes.

If you are a clinic or med spa
The order arrives complete and does not generate a second procurement task on a different lead time. Nobody discovers on the day that the water arrived and the syringes did not.
Consumables also tend to be the line item that falls through the gap between whoever orders stock and whoever uses it. A kit in the box means the two cannot get out of step, because they arrive together and in proportion.
The labels matter most in this setting, for the reason set out below.

The blank labels, and what they are for
A sealed lyophilised vial identifies itself. A reconstituted one does not. Once powder goes into solution the vial looks like every other clear vial of clear liquid in the fridge, and the information that now matters, what is in it and when it was made up, exists only in whoever did it.
That is the most common handling failure anywhere stock is held, and it is not a knowledge problem. Nobody thinks unlabelled vials are a good idea. It happens because at the moment of reconstitution there is nothing to write on and finding something is a separate task, so it gets left, and a week later there are three vials and a guess.
The labels are blank on purpose. What needs recording is what you did and when you did it, and no supplier can print that in advance. A pre-printed label would only be able to say what the vial was before it was opened, which is the part that was never in doubt.

How it is packed
Insulated packaging with a cold pack, inside a plain outer box. Nothing on the outside describes the contents, names a compound or identifies the sender as anything other than a parcel.
Lyophilised powder is more robust in transit than people expect. It is a dry solid in a sealed vial, and it is not going to be ruined by a courier van. The packing is there to keep the parcel out of the ambient temperature a Manila delivery run actually involves, rather than to hold a validated cold chain, and it would be overselling it to call it one.
