Peptide dropshipping, and why it is harder than it looks.
Dropshipping works for phone cases. For a temperature-sensitive, batch-numbered, research-use-only product it carries costs that never show up in the pitch.
The short answer
Peptide dropshipping means a reseller sells a vial and the supplier sends it straight to the reseller's customer, so the reseller never holds stock.
In the Philippines it is weaker for peptides than for most products, because it puts cold-chain storage, delivery speed, batch traceability and the customer relationship in someone else's hands while the reseller stays the seller of record.
Peptide resellers realistically choose between three models: holding stock, ordering against a confirmed sale, and direct-to-customer dispatch by the supplier.
Ordering against a confirmed sale gives most of the capital benefit of dropshipping without giving up control of the parcel, which is why it is where most Philippine resellers start.

What dropshipping is
Dropshipping is a selling model in which the reseller takes the order and the payment, then passes the order to a supplier who ships the product directly to the end customer. The reseller never touches the stock. Their margin is the difference between what the customer paid and what the supplier charges.
The appeal is obvious and it is real. No capital tied up in inventory, no storage, no packing, no trips to a courier counter. In general e-commerce it lets someone test dozens of products with very little money, and for durable goods that do not care how long they sit in a warehouse, the trade-offs are mostly manageable.
The question for anyone searching for a peptide dropship supplier is whether those trade-offs still hold when the product is a lyophilised vial that needs to stay cool, carries a batch number that has to be traceable, and is sold for research use only in a country where the rules on health products are strict. Mostly, they do not.
Why dropshipping is weaker for peptides than for other products
Dropshipping peptides is weaker than dropshipping general goods because the things it hands to someone else are exactly the things that matter most for this product. Five of them stand out.
Storage
A vial's condition depends on how it was kept at every stage. When you dropship, you cannot see the supplier's storage, cannot check the packing and cannot intervene if a parcel goes out badly packed into Manila heat. You are vouching for a cold chain you have never seen.
Speed
Your customer's delivery time becomes the supplier's dispatch time plus the courier's, and you can promise nothing faster. If the supplier ships from overseas, that is weeks and an import route you do not control. If they ship from Metro Manila it can be fast, but only as fast as their queue.
Batch traceability
You need to know which batch each customer received. In a dropship model that information sits with the supplier, and unless they send it to you for every order, your own record has a hole in it exactly where questions arrive.
The customer relationship
The customer bought from you, so every problem is yours to answer, but you have no parcel to look at, no vial to photograph and no tracking you set up yourself. You become a message relay, and customers notice.
Regulatory exposure
Not holding stock does not make you not the seller. Your name is on the sale, your page made the claims, and your customer paid you. Whatever exposure attaches to selling the product attaches to you, whoever packed the box.
None of these makes dropshipping impossible. They make it a model where the reseller carries the risk and the supplier holds the control, which is the wrong way round for a product where control is most of the value.
The three supply models resellers actually use
In practice a Philippine peptide reseller chooses between three models, and they differ in who holds the stock, who controls the parcel and how fast the customer receives it.
Hold stock
You buy inventory before you have sold it, keep it in your own fridge and ship to customers yourself. Most control, fastest delivery, most capital tied up.
Order against a confirmed sale
You take the customer's order and payment first, then order from your supplier, receive the vial and ship it on yourself. Little capital tied up, full control of the parcel, slower than holding.
Direct-to-customer dispatch
Classic dropshipping. You take the order and your supplier ships straight to your customer. Least capital and least work, least control.
You can run more than one at once. A common pattern is to hold the two or three compounds that move every month and order the rest against confirmed sales.
Model one: holding stock
Holding stock gives a reseller the most control and the fastest delivery, at the cost of committed capital and the risk of holding the wrong compound.
The vial is on your shelf, so a Metro Manila customer can have it the same day by Lalamove or Grab Express, and a provincial customer can be on a J&T parcel the moment payment lands in GCash or Maya. You pack it yourself, so you know it went out with a cold pack in an insulated box and plain outer packaging. You read the batch number off the vial as you pack it, so your record is complete.
The costs are just as concrete. Money spent on stock is money not available for anything else until it sells. A compound that stops moving sits in your fridge. A brownout that lasts longer than your fridge can hold its temperature is your problem, and in some provinces that is a real planning question rather than a theoretical one. Storage detail is in storing peptide stock in the Philippines.
Holding stock is usually also where volume pricing starts to matter, because holding is what creates volume. Published pack prices are on the pack pricing page, and anything above a pack is a WhatsApp conversation.
Model two: ordering against a confirmed sale
Ordering against a confirmed sale gives most of the capital benefit of dropshipping while keeping the parcel, the batch record and the customer contact in the reseller's hands.
The sequence is simple. The customer orders and pays you. You order the same vial from your supplier. It arrives with you, you check it, note the batch, and send it on in your own packaging with your own message. Nothing is bought before it is sold, and nothing reaches a customer that you have not seen.
The cost is time, and it is worth being honest about. You inherit your supplier's dispatch window on every order and then add your own. From a Metro Manila supplier that is same day within the metro on weekday orders confirmed before 12 noon, then your own onward delivery. Outside the metro the courier leg to you takes Luzon in 1 to 2 business days, the Visayas in 2 to 3 and Mindanao in 3 to 5, all before your own parcel even leaves, and parcels for the Visayas and Mindanao only leave Metro Manila Monday to Wednesday. If you are in Davao reselling to Davao, this model is slow.
This is where most resellers start, and it is the model we would point most people to first. It lets you find out what actually sells before any money is committed to stock, and when the pattern is clear, moving your reliable compounds to held stock is a small step. How a reseller account works covers the move between the two.
Model three: direct-to-customer dispatch
Direct-to-customer dispatch is the model people mean when they search for a peptide dropship supplier, and it is the one with the narrowest set of situations where it makes sense.
It can work when the reseller is mainly a referrer with a small, trusting audience, when every customer is reachable by the supplier's own same-day route, and when the supplier is willing to send the batch number and tracking for every parcel back to the reseller. Take away any of those three and the model starts to leak: slow parcels, gaps in the batch record, and complaints you cannot investigate.
Whether a supplier offers it is a supplier decision, and many do not, for the reasons above. Primara Labs does not advertise it. If you think it would fit what you are doing, ask on WhatsApp whether it fits your account and describe your setup; you will get a straight answer either way. Do not build a business plan on the assumption that it is available.
One thing this guide will not cover is any way of disguising who is selling, or of working around a marketplace's or payment provider's rules on what can be sold. Platforms such as online marketplaces and e-wallets set their own prohibited-item rules. Read them and follow them, or sell somewhere else.
The regulatory position does not change with the model
In the Philippines, the rules that apply to selling peptides attach to the sale, not to who packed the parcel, so dropshipping moves none of the regulatory exposure away from the reseller.
Republic Act No. 9711, the Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009, gives FDA Philippines authority over drugs and other health products, including the licensing of establishments that manufacture, import, distribute or sell them and the registration of the products themselves. Research-use-only compounds are not approved for human use in the Philippines. A business that sells them for human use, or markets them as if they were for human use, takes on regulatory risk, and that is true whether the business holds stock or never touches a vial. Research use only, explained sets out what the label means.
Your customers also deal with you under ordinary consumer law. They paid you, so a late, damaged or wrong parcel is yours to resolve, not your supplier's to explain.
This guide describes the rules in general terms and is not legal or tax advice. Before you start selling, get your own advice from a lawyer and an accountant who know your setup, including on DTI business name registration, your LGU business permit and BIR registration.
Which model fits which reseller
The right model depends mostly on where your customers are, how predictable your sales are and how much capital you can leave sitting in a fridge.
Starting out, any location
Order against confirmed sales. Find out what sells before you buy anything you have not sold.
Steady sales, Metro Manila customers
Hold your reliable compounds and order the rest against sales. Same-day delivery to your own customers is the strongest thing you can offer, and only holding stock gives it to you.
Provincial base, provincial customers
Holding stock matters more, not less, because ordering against a sale adds a full courier leg before your own parcel leaves. Plan around brownouts and dispatch days.
Mostly referring, small audience
Ask whether direct dispatch fits your account before assuming it does. If it does not, ordering against a sale is the next best fit.
What to ask any supplier before you commit
Whichever model you choose, a few questions sort a dependable supplier from one you will regret. Ask them before your first order, not after the first complaint.
Where is the stock physically held?
In the Philippines, or ordered in after you pay? This decides your delivery time more than anything else.
Does every vial carry a batch number, and will you send it?
If you are not packing the parcel yourself, you need the batch for every order in writing.
How is it packed?
Insulated packaging with a cold pack, plain outer packaging, and what happens when a parcel arrives warm or broken.
What do the published lab reports cover?
Ask for the batch reports page, then read what each report covers and what it does not. Our own are on the batch reports page.
What happens when something goes wrong?
Who you message, how fast, and what the remedy is. Our terms for that are on the guarantee page.
Supplied for laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption. Nothing on this page is medical, legal or tax advice.
Questions
What is peptide dropshipping?
Peptide dropshipping is a model where a reseller sells a vial and the supplier ships it straight to the reseller's customer, so the reseller never holds stock. It saves capital but hands storage, speed, batch records and the parcel itself to the supplier while the reseller remains the seller.
Is dropshipping peptides a good idea in the Philippines?
Usually not as a first choice. Peptides are temperature-sensitive and batch-numbered, so giving up control of storage and the parcel costs more than it does for ordinary goods. Ordering against a confirmed sale keeps most of the capital benefit without that loss of control.
Does Primara Labs dropship to my customers?
Primara Labs does not advertise direct-to-customer dispatch for resellers. If you think it would fit your setup, ask on WhatsApp whether it fits your account and you will get a straight answer. Holding stock and ordering against confirmed sales are both available on a reseller account.
Can I resell peptides without holding stock?
Yes, by ordering against a confirmed sale: take the customer's order and payment, order the vial, receive it, note the batch and ship it on yourself. It ties up almost no capital, at the cost of adding your supplier's dispatch time to every order.
Does dropshipping reduce my legal risk?
No. The customer bought from you, so you are the seller whoever ships the parcel. Research-use-only compounds are not approved for human use in the Philippines, and the exposure that comes with selling them stays with the seller. Get your own legal and tax advice before you start.
